    Blue thanks

Hi crafters. This card started by wanting to use a piece of scrap. The circle was cut from a square of watercolour paper that I had been mopping the mess up with on my desk while misting watercolour powders. I have lots of the blue card so I put them together. I ran the background piece through the Kaisercraft Damask embossing folder and the circle through the Alexandra Renke Level curves folder. I tried different inks on the raised parts of the circle but ended up with Nuvo embellishment mousse in heather. The sentiment is from MFT twice the thanks dies and layered 6 times. Well that’s one piece off…

    You’re so kind

Hi crafters. A simple thank you card today. The main paper is from DCWV pocket full of posies and the black and white is MFT. I used the Simon says Stamp You’re so kind die and put gold washi tape behind it. The heart is from Sizzix Bigz heartfelt. I cut it from watercolour paper that had been coloured orange, then traced that on scrap, covered the scrap with gold washi tape the cut it out a little bigger. I am entering this card in the Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge: anything goes

    Let’s party

Hi crafters. This card started by sprinkling Ken Oliver Color bursts and Lindy’s magicals over the Artplorations Retro circles stencil and spraying with water. I removed the wet stencil and pressed that onto another piece of paper. Then I repeated this with the Artplorations Bubble dance stencil. At that point I thought it would make a good party background. I added spotty washi down the sides for confetti. The fun cat is from the Let’s Party Stamp set from The Cat’s Pajamas.  I stamped him with Acorn Versafine Clair ink and coloured him with Arteza woodless watercolour pencils. The balloons are Stamplorations Shaker balloons #3 oval, cut from the paper…

    Celebrate!

Hi crafters. This card was inspired by Sandra’s card this week. I tried the techniques out and came up with this. I started with Lindy’s magicals in Autumn maple crimson and Black Forest plus Ken Oliver Prussian blue and sprinkled these and sprayed with water. While it was wet I pressed Stampendous Andy Skinner textures stamps into the colour and then stamped. I also stamped these same stamps in Ranger cobalt archival ink. Next I applied Nuvo embellishment mousse through an Artplorations Trees 1 stencil. Next I used homemade glitter paste through a Deco Art pixelated stencil. I used 2 copics ( B18 and RV 69) to colour some scrap…

    Celebrate You.

Hi crafters. I got Concord and 9th’s Rainbow wishes stamps and these sticker gems for Christmas so here’s a rainbow card. I stamped the pattern arches from the set then doodled a couple more so I could have more of a rainbow. The gems were on a sticker sheet so I cut them in rows and nicked between each one to encourage them to curve. The sentiment is from Concord and 9th’s Birthday stacks Stamp set. Gold party

Hi crafters. I started with the idea of colouring this card but once I started embossing I decided to leave it gold and white. The big circle is Picket Fence circles of faith. The letters are Ink Road Block Party Alpha outline. The top starbursts are Your next stamp Starburst background stamps and the one inside the circle is Visible image Rays of light. The starbursts were embossed with Ranger gold tinsel embossing powder and the circles and letters with Simon says Stamp gold embossing powder. Party time!

Hi crafters. I’ve got an entry for the Simon says Stamp challenges this week. I started by running the paper through with the Your next die: circles – piercing marks die ( all connected) twice. Unfortunately you can’t see the marks as clearly by the end as I had to run the card through the die cut machine to fix warping a couple of times. I cut the background with the Your next die Starburst trio. I then coloured the background with Ken Oliver liquid metals, Ken Oliver Prussian blue, Lindy’s magicals Autumn maple crimson and a spray of gold paint. I inlaid coloured starbursts and painted Jo Sonja’s Opal…

    Felted greetings

Hi crafters. Time for one more for the Stitch it up challenge at Simon says Stamp. The fabric scrap was sewn with crotchet cotton and machine sewn to card base. After successfully cutting felt in the last card, I thought why not have the sentiment in felt. The Will’s hand birthday die is from Tonic and the straight talk happy is from Technique Tuesday. I glued these on along with a starburst felt die cut from Your next Stamp. I am entering this card in the Simon says Stamp Monday challenge: Stitch it up! Merry Christmas everyone!

    Stitched heart.

Hi crafters. I managed to finish another stitched card. This one is stitching on a scrap of fabric with crochet cotton. I held it onto the cardbase with bulldog clips and sewed it on. I thought the smile circle die from Simon says Stamp would make a nice sentiment. The die is triple stacked with clear embossing powder on top. It was getting lost on the busy background so I diecut a heart from felt and stitched around the outside. I sewed that to the background the glued on the diecut. Stitched up

Hi crafters. I have a few half started stitched card projects so I thought I’d try and finish one for the Simon says Stamp challenge. This one started by stamping the MFT mesmerizing mandala in Grey dye ink on a scrap of hessian. This was an experiment as I didn’t know how it would go on hessian. I sewed the stamped lines with recycled silver strands. I placed rhinestones and gems in between in places. For the sentiment I used Penny Black doodles dies. I cut celebrate 4 times and stacked them, the used silver embossing powder on top. I trimmed the piece and glued it with Tombow mono multi.…
