    Gratefully inspired

Hi crafters. I went on the Altenew Educators “For the love of flowers” blog hop and was particularly inspired by a card by Maryam. She coloured the Inked Rose stamp in a galaxy style. I liked the way she used added the purple and blue watercolours and decided to try and colour some flowers like that. I stamped the flowers from Grateful Heart on watercolour paper in black. I wet areas and dropped in various purple and blues. I left some white areas like Maryam did. I coloured the centers with glitter gel pens. I added some watercoloured leaves from the Adore You stamp set. I adhered all these to…

    Hair clips

Hi crafters. I realised that the hair clips I made this week probably qualify for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge, which is something feminine. It may be a bit of a stretch, but they even have stamping! I started with old and secondhand hair clips and stripped off anything stuck on top. A feminine wrap

Hi crafters. I needed to wrap some large presents, so I made some girly wrapping paper. I had kraft paper already. I used the large 12×12 Kaisercraft Damask stencil with white and purple fluoro paints. I just put the paints on plastic and dipped a foam roller in it without mixing it properly, so there is variegated colour. I made a few meters. I am entering the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Something feminine. Happy crafting Christine

    Inspired by music

Hi crafters. Simon says Stamp has an inspired by music challenge. I decided to white emboss the Kaisercraft skeet music on some watercolour paper and see what happened. I added some brown and Grey watercolour. I added a kraft frame cut with the Simon says Stamp A7 thin frames die. The sentiment is a Lil Inkers die cut from dyed book paper plus kraft. This was popped up. I added a couple of Kaisercraft wooden palm leaves and some gems and dots. I am entering this card in the following challenges: Simon says Stamp Monday challenge: Inspired by music. Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Anything Goes Happy crafting,
