    Stencilled male card

Hi crafters. As I crossed the messy craft room, this Dylusions stencil beckoned and asked to become a card. I taped it at the top edge and put other stencils underneath, one at a time. There are Kaisercraft Speckles and typography and Dylusions squares small, all in acrylic paint with Catherine Pooler inks blended on top. When I went to wipe the ink off the paint, the black paint smudged a bit. I then stencilled the Funky Fossil stencil on top in white. The sentiment is a Pinkfresh Classic words die cut. I am sending this to the CAS stencil May challenge. Thanks for visiting, Christine

    Layered stencil birthday

Hi crafters. I had a chance to make a card for the CAS is stencil May challenge. I used scraps for this card. I used about 7 stencils with paint and heat embossing. I added bright distress stains over the top. I trimmed the panel and placed it on a copper matt. The sentiment die is from Tonic with a copper embossed wishes from Paper Smooches. Thanks for a great challenge Hilary.

I have some shiny, translucent, rainbow vinyl which I thought would be great with the Waffleflower Rainbow birthday die. I decided to cut it from gold glitter cardstock as a contrast to the vinyl. I backed the glitter cardstock with Diecut n bond and diecut it to make it more like a sticker. I was influenced by Jennifer McGuire and cut it and another sentiment from the centre of a 5×7 area and then cut Simon Says Stamp A7 thin frames from the remaining. It was pretty thick with the diecut n…

    Outback birthday

Hi crafters. I needed a 60th birthday card. The person likes cycling and running in the bush. I took a piece of Kaisercraft Scrap studio paper and cut it to background size. There was another piece of paper in the Anthology pad which looked like dark cracked leather. I tore the top edge and adhered it to the bottom edge. I think it makes a great mountain. The bicycle is from Couture Creations and embossed in SSS gold. I added a shiny brown MFT bottletop ‘60’ and a Pinkfresh Classic words Happy Birthday. I did use something for the first time: Couture Creations Diecut ‘n Bond. I added some to…
