Hugs

Hi crafters. I couldn’t resist making another card for the Blog named Hero October challenge.

I was inspired by Ericka Strange’s cards here. The panel was made with distress oxides on photo paper. I used seedless preserves, aged mahogany, vintage photo, wild honey and antique linen. I matted the panel on brown metallic card and plum coloured cardstock. The hugs die has 2 layers then Nuvo crystal drops. The die is from the March my monthly Hero kit. I dry embossed a strip of brown metallic cardstock with the Hero Arts bold graphic confetti die and placed the hugs on top of that.

Thanks for the challenge, these colours are gorgeous.

This is Karen Bull, a design team member from A Blog Named Hero. Love how this background came out – there is such texture and if you look closely, the ink marks are taking on the shapes of leaves! Well done. Thank you so much for playing along this month!
