Smile shaker
Hi crafters. Still doing MFT challenges. I’ve been thinking about this card for a few days. Just before I started, I realised this would fit the sketch challenge as well if I gave it a minor tweak.
I started by cutting the MFT smile die 475 from brown cardstock and an extra backing piece from neutral MFT chevron paper. I stamped images from Sketched Blooms 2 directly onto the card base as well as the neutral paper. I stamped the flower and leaves onto persimmon and green chevron paper and cut them out. I edged these with black marker then paper pieced them onto the stamped images. I filled any missing leaves or stems with a copic multiliner. I glued the brown shaker front onto plastic and trimmed it. I added some walnut stain distress ink over the top. I used a double layer of foam tape behind the shaker and coloured the edges of the foam with brown marker. I added coordinating sequins to the shaker. I added brown strips to the sides to fit the sketch challenge.
I am entering this card in MFT Color challenge 105 and MFT sketch challenge 411.

Love the shaker and how the elements flow onto the rest of the card, how very clever!!
