Gold jingling

Hi crafters. This card looks simple but there were some failures along the way.  I made a panel with red distress stains but the foiled sentiment didn’t work and I had no more of the cardstock I had used. I tried again with some red cardstock and sprayed it with Distress resist spray, then put gold foil on top and ran it through the Minc machine on 3 with no transfer folder. The sentiment is a combination of The Cat’s Pajamas Keep calm stamps with a stencil of jingle made from Reverse Confetti Jingle all the way die. I initially just cut the stencil from paper but later did it from acetate as I had to do the sentiment multiple times. I heat embossed the sentiment in clear embossing powder and tried foiling it multiple times. I didn’t get a result that was acceptable, so I eventually just embossed it with SSS gold powder ( I was starting to run out of red cardstock!) I will have to return to foiling stamping another day.

I matted the sentiment on gold paper and added a border with Ranger gold tinsel embossing powder. I added another border to the main panel.

I am entering this card in the Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge: All that glitters is gold

And The Cats Pajamas Challenge #352: Winter holidays.
