Hi crafters. I have a card for the crafters choice challenge at A Blog named Hero.
I started with the Hero Arts tropical background stencil. I applied texture paste through it onto 5×7 watercolour paper. When it was dry I sprinkled Ken Oliver Color bursts in Indigo, Terre verte and Prussian blue, as well as Lindy’s magicals Grab a guy gold. I sprayed it with water and let it dry. I then placed the stencil back on top and daubed the central parts with embossing ink and sprinkled navy and gold powders on top. I did that a couple of times. I cut down the piece with Waffleflower lacy layers 5×7 die and popped it up on a blue panel with gold heat embossing around the edges. The sentiment from the Hero Arts March my monthly kit was embossed in gold on blue cardstock and popped up with foam. A gem in the center finishes it off.
