Hi crafters. I decided to try a new stencil and some green Paper artsy infusions for the Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge: No stamps allowed. I sprinkled Green man and Slime infusions along with Ken Oliver burnt orange and Yellow ochre colour bursts onto a piece of watercolour paper and sprayed with water. I dried this then smooshed in some droplets that had run into the mat. I kept doing this and adding more powders until it was enough. Then I used the Visible Image Eye contact stencil with Forrest moss distress oxide and a brush. To highlight the eye I used chalk pastels over the top. I wondered about a sentiment. I thought a quote would be nice but many are too long. I liked this Mark Twain quote and thought it would fit using Tim Holtz Typeset alphabet cut from black packaging. I glued these on and edged with black crayon. I sprayed the whole thing with fixative to protect the pastel.
It is fun to not use stamps. I can feel another card brewing!
