Floral fantasy

Hi crafters. The Simon says Stamp Monday challenge is feminine/ girly. I was inspired by the use of stencils by the design team. I started with 2 pieces of watercolour paper. One I stamped with Versafine Clair Monarch and glamorous inks and added some Ken Oliver liquid metals. I mixed some picked raspberry distress stain with texture paste then used this with 2 Kaisercraft stencils on both pieces of paper. When the paste was dry I sprinkled Violet brocade Nuvo shimmer powder plus Ken Oliver Indigo and Merlot powders, then misted. When that was dry I stamped 49 and market Bohemian damask plus Kaisercraft floral wallpaper with distress inks.

I decided the panel without the initial stamping was the best so I cut the one with extra stamping with Kaisercraft floral branch die. I coloured some scrap watercolour paper with the same watercolour powders (darker versions) and cut it with leaves from Tim Holtz funky florals 2 and 3. I found a black felt frame sticker and used that to build a shaker window. I used some blue acetate as I knew I could emboss on it. I rubbed Nuvo embellishment mousse in English heather and Black ash onto the black felt. I added sequins and flower sequins with rhinestones glued into them. I embossed a sentiment from Concord and 9th on the acetate with purple embossing powder.
