Hi crafters. Still playing with paint. This is a page of street directory I have been layering paint on from the gel press, stencils and the brayer. When it became a colourful jumble that I liked, I wondered about where to go next. It needed black or white to break it up so I stamped the Kaisercraft texture stamp crackle on it in Versafine onyx black after applying clear gesso. The Versafine took a while to dry so I applied black embossing powder after a while and embossed the slow drying bits.
I decided to create a focal point with an outline image and chose the floral from Concord and 9th grateful for everything Stamp set. I wanted to see how crayon would go on top. I used water soluble crayons but didn’t add water. I rubbed white over the leaves and yellow and orange over the flowers. I buffed off any crayon over the embossing. I added black around the edge of the image. The sentiment was white heat embossed from the same stamp set.
