Hi crafters. This card was started during my recent chipboard experiments, but I finished it off today. I started with heavy watercolour paper and glued on thick chipboard cut with the Tim Holtz crosshatch frameworks die. I gessoed over the chipboard. I coloured it with water- soluble crayons. I rubbed black over the top and put colours in the holes which I moved with a damp Qtip. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn and I did 2 colours to help it stand out from the busy background. It was stacked. I had to add extra stacking on the ends to allow for the thick chipboard. The watercolour paper had been cut from a larger sheet and wasn’t quite 7inch long. I could have cut the end of the cardbase off, but instead added some washi on the bottom. I sprayed the panel with fixative.
I am entering this card in the Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Happy Birthday
