CAS wedding

Hi crafters. I have another wedding card. I’m up to date now thanks to the Simon says Stamp Monday challenge which is anniversary/ wedding this week. I decided to do a CAS ombré card which will also fit with the CAS mix up challenge for June.

I started by masking a rectangular area on a panel and stamping the Impression Obsession Gradation Stamp in Versamark ink. I sprinkled on an ombré of powders: Judikins Diamond, Silver, Platinum, Gold and WOW pearl gold sparkle embossing glitter. I wasn’t getting a great impression at the edges so I restamped, cut out the rectangle and touched up dots with a Versamark pen. (My embossing ink pad is pretty dry and raggedy).

I took letters from the Tim Holtz Alphanumeric Thin dies and laid out the names with a T square ruler and washi tape. I did lots of measurements to try and get them even in the rectangle before cutting them out. I popped this panel up over a piece of gold mirror paper.

My choice is die cutting.

What a gorgeous and unique way of making an ombre panel! I love the sparkle and colors of embossing glitters!
The letters of the names are evenly die-cut and perfect. A very elegant CAS wedding card. Thanks so much for sharing this card with us at CAS Mix Up!
