Hi crafters. I made a card using foiled scraps. The sea was made from a background where I experimented with foiling. I had applied acrylic paint through the Kaisercraft ripples stencil and foiled it in the Minc with blue fab foil. It was coloured between the foiling with distress stains. I sliced along the waves with a craft knife and inserted a sailboat (ephemera) and 3 fish. The fish (Kaisercraft school of fish) are cut from a piece of cardstock covered in aluminium tape and coloured with alcohol ink and copics. I cut a little gold flag for the boat from a gold star sequin. The birds (Sizzix birds and stars) were cut from a holographic foiled scrap. The birds were adhered to a teal cardbase which had broken china and unicorn white inks brushed onto it. The sentiment is from Memory Box oceanside typewriter sentiments and embossed in SSS navy embossing powder.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Simon says Stamp Monday challenge: Life on the ocean waves.
Simon says Stamp Work it Wednesday: Foil it.
