Ocean shaker

Hi crafters. I made another ocean card for the Simon says Stamp Monday challenge which is life on the ocean waves. I guess mine is below the surface rather than on the waves so I hope that is OK. The background and frame are cut from pattern paper. I then stamped various sea plants/ corals from Flora and Fauna’s Under the sea set with Versafine Clair Warm breeze and green oasis inks. I then coated under these with glue and covered it with sand. I pressed it in and brushed off the excess and put a little more glue on top. I adhered the tiny pumice stones from the beach at the same time. The anchor from Poppy stamps was coated in rust paints. The crab, fish and turtle are from the same stamp set. I coloured these with pencil and fussy cut them and glued them onto the background. The fish and the sand also have a coat of Jo Sonja’s opal dust for a bit of sparkle. The sentiment is from Flora and Fauna’s everyday word Party set. I added various sequins before adding the frame and acetate with foam tape.

Such a delightful scene card. I love that there isn’t too many sequins in the shaker. Keep those lovely fussy cut images the star! So happy to have found you through the SSS challenge.
