Happy

Hi crafters. Sometimes I get lucky and find treasure at the secondhand shop. The treasure in this post is the paper. I found a box with a roll of 13inch 300g paper inside. Any crafter knows good paper is like gold. I cut a piece and tried it with watercolour powders. I first stencilled onto it with Tim Holtz stencil set33 and texture paste. I then sprinkled and misted with Infusions, Nuvo, Lindy’s and Colourblast powders. Some of these have a great shimmer. The paper handled the water well so I will be using it more in the future. The panel wasn’t as wide as the 5×7 cardbase I wanted to use so I edged it with gold glitter cardstock and popped up the panel on foam tape. The Winnie and Walter sentiment was also cut from gold glitter cardstock. This card is going in the bright and cheerful challenge at Simon says Stamp Monday challenge as well as the Anything goes challenge at the Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge.
