Iridescent birthday.

Hi crafters. I was tidying the craft table when I found cupcakes. No, the low calorie paper type, left over from previous card experiments. There happened to be blue glitter cardstock nearby and before you know it, this card was born. I paired these with some lime iridescent paper that I acquired. I was thinking of the Simon says Stamp Monday challenge which is bright and cheerful. This card almost requires sunglasses as when the light catches the iridescent paper it is very bright. The cupcake is from an old Kaisercraft set and is coloured with alcohol markers. Behind the cake I gold heat embossed a Winnie and Walter stamp called Round and Round. I coloured some areas in the circles with alcohol marker to vary the colour. The sentiment was cut with the Lawn Fawn Happy Birthday line border die.

I am also entering this card in the Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is anything goes.

hahaha, I don’t think there would be any cupcakes lying around here either (not the real kind). Thanks for some more sweet inspiration!
