Inchy

Hi crafters. I hadn’t made inchies before but I was inspired to start by the latest CAS mix up challenge for September.

I started with a scrap of pearlised cardstock. I stamped the Penny Black letter background stamp onto some tissue paper and glued it to the right side. I added some more colour with alcohol markers. I stamped the Deep Red woodcut swirls background with an embossing ink dauber so only the bit I wanted would Stamp. I embossed it with Judikins denim powder. I added 2 blue metallic threads and some iridescent glitter before coating with distress crackle paint. By this time it was a bit warped and when I tried to flatten it some cracked bits came out. I glued them back in and coated with clear glaze.

I stencilled some Bo Bunny Seafoam glitter paste through the Kaisercraft ripples stencil. I placed the inchy on some foam then a square of pearlised cardstock cut with the Nellie Snellen photo frames die. I attached a scrap of watercolour paper cut with the Sizzix circle mask die underneath. I then attached it with more foam. The sentiment from Clearly Besotted Message Me was stamped in Versafine Clair Warm breeze.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
