Hi crafters. I was lucky enough to win this Birds and Blossoms die in the Memory Box challenge. When I cut it from watercolour paper I thought it would look lovely with origami paper. I found a piece of origami paper with silver flowers that look a bit like those in the die. I watercoloured the branches with an Arteza black marker and a waterbrush. I rubbed a black marker around the frame leaving the impressions uncoloured. I cut another branch/frame from scrap and glued that underneath and coloured it’s edges black. The birds, flowers and leaves were coloured with a mixture of silver acrylic paint and Arteza marker so they have a pearly, silver sheen to them.
I partially diecut the origami paper with the Waffleflower Lacey layers 5×7 die until it would fit on a A6 cardbase. I don’t have a Memory Box thank you so I used Penny Black Many Thanks die.
I am entering this card in the Simon says Stamp Stamptember Memory Box collaboration challenge.
Thanks Memory Box.
