Pink Hey

Hi crafters. This card started with some dressmaking pattern paper. I covered that with gesso. I added texture paste that had been mixed with black paint and glitter, through a stencil that just has Splat on it. There is also some pink chalk paint which was applied through the Funky Fossil micro dots stencil. I added a couple of spray stains and powders. There is some stamping with Kaisercraft stamp 36 and Prima messy. I decided to use some secondhand chipboard letters as the sentiment and coloured them with a pink sharpie. I separated them from the background with layers of black and pink tulle as well as black Stamplorations trendy spring blossoms die cuts.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Simon says Stamp Monday challenge: All things pink

Happy crafting

All those bright, beautiful layers with the added texture, you really do have talent my friend! I also want to say a BIG thank you, I had the most wonderful happy mail this week, I am working night duty and you seriously made my day, week actually! Crafty hugs, Therese (loved the ‘shaggy’ finish, it’s brilliant!)

Such a lovely card! The black texture paste really makes the background colours pop and I love how you added the netting – beautiful 😀. Thanks so much for joining the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Creative wishes, Jo x
