Hi crafters. I was colouring with Copics and Sharpies recently and had scrap paper underneath. The scrap paper had lovely pink, purple and orange blotches over it. It was just copy paper but I decided to try and make a card with it. I stamped the buildings from Concord and 9th City Stacks Stamp set onto it with some masking. I coloured in the buildings with Arteza markers and a waterbrush (without much water). I tried gold Finetec watercolour over the sky and platinum paint pen around the buildings and over the windows. There wasn’t enough distinction between the buildings and the sky so I went over the gold with white metallic watercolour, which produced a platinum look. I decided to use some stamps from Practical Publishing for the greeting. I stamped the plane and banner on the same paper. I used a less blotchy patch for the banner. The plane was coloured with Arteza markers, glued to a stiff scrap and fussy cut out. The plane and banner were added with foam tape and some sparkle was added to the plane. The sentiment comes from the Hero Arts Rose stem stamp set.
I am entering this card in the Simon says Stamp Monday challenge: Cityscape
