cards

I sea you.

Hi crafters. I’m combining a couple of challenges today. The common factor is the starfish. I found these secondhand a while ago and this seemed the perfect opportunity to use them.
I started with a gessoed piece of card stock and added texture paste through the Kaisercraft ripples and Funky Fossil micro dots stencils. I then covered the panel with acrylic paints. When the paint was dry I replaced the ripples stencil and added Seafoam glitter paste from BoBunny over the top in places. At the bottom, I scraped the glitter paste so that the bumps from the stencil would still show. I wiped some silver glitter glue over other ripples. The seaweeds were made using the Kaisercraft Flora Branches die and The Stamp Market Big Bloom dies. My fish were cut from scrap with the Kaisercraft school of fish die and painted with acrylic paints. I added some gold glitter glue on top as well as some googly eyes. Some clear droplets and my starfish finished it off. I will put a fishy sentiment inside.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Simon says Stamp Monday challenge: A day at the beach.
Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Reach for the stars.

Thanks for visiting,

Christine
