Hi crafters. I wanted to try and use a piece of intense pink cardboard and do some doodling. Things just happened after that. I sometimes use this cardboard to diecut things that are going to be painted. I thought I would try and tone it down like Andrea does at Snapping Monsters. First, I just applied white and coloured paints.
Still pretty intense! I thought it needs a lot more white. I stencilled some in with a Colorful Life Crossword stencil. I wondered how I was going to doodle on it. I decided to doodle around individual blocks. I put the stencil back on top and used my foil quill pen to doodle the blocks with silver and blue foil scraps.
I diecut and layered the sentiments from Simon says Stamp and Winnie and Walter. It needed something else, so I diecut the Kaisercraft Texture Criss Cross die from silver paper and glued bits in 3 corners. The shine of the diecut and foil makes the background a bit lighter. I think the pink is more tolerable by the end.
I am entering this card in the Simon says Stamp Monday challenge: Oodles of Doodles.
