Hi crafters. When I was going through magazines recently I was looking for images to make stencils from. Birgit Koopsen had a video where she made stencils from magazine photos, so I had to try it. I used very, thin plastic folder dividers that I found at the secondhand shop. The easiest way I found to trace them was to hold the magazine page with the plastic over it, up to a window and draw around. I placed my silhouette over a gel print, and placed a Winnie and Walter circle stencil over that. I sponged over a deep blue and Payne’s grey paints to match the number stencilling on the print. After lifting the circle stencil, I sponged a little more around the people so their outlines were easier to see. The Lawn Fawn sentiment was cut from gold holographic paper and pink cardstock.
