Textured Sea

Hi crafters. I been using things that were lying around today. The ‘waves’ on this card were cut from a failed experiment with tissue paper. Fine blue and green tissue paper diecuts were glued over silver tissue paper. It became a hot mess, but it looks great when cut with the Elizabeth Crafts Cinnamon background die. I also cut the tissue paper piece with the Kaisercraft Flora branches and School of fish dies. The background was a crumpled piece of brown paper which had already had bits of metallic paints added to it. I crumpled the lower half and rubbed a bit of copper paint over the raised bits. I also rubbed the copper paint on the fish. The fish and the waves have a few layer of cardstock and a little foam behind them for dimension. I copper embossed a Memory Box sentiment onto a scrap and cut it with a Lawn Fawn die.

I’m adding this to the Simon says Stamp Monday challenge, which is to add texture.
Keep swimming,
Christine

Perfect Christine! I can’t believe that it was a ‘hot mess’ before you die cut it, what a wonderful save and a great card design!
