Hi crafters. I’ve been thinking about the Lost Coast Designs and Carmen’s Veranda paper piecing challenge for a few days. I decided on the stamp, but it took a few days to finally commit to paper. I chose this Stamp as I like her but don’t use her much. I found her in a secondhand shop. Just look at her – she needs more love. She doesn’t have any label as to what brand she is. I love the detail in it.
I stamped on various papers. The paper for the skin was from a magazine. I realised after stamping that the ink may not dry on it well. It was OK till I tried to cut the tiny spot between her face and hand.
I cut it again, layered it up the trimmed the panel. I put gold foil around the edge of the card base with double sided tape. I popped it up on foam which I edged with gold marker and then paint.
The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday Perk up. It wasn’t as daunting as I thought and I might even try another one. 😉
I am entering this card in the Lost Coast Designs and Carmen’s Veranda Challenge #60 Paper piecing
