Hi crafters. Can you see what I layered? This monster looks too friendly not to have friends. I layered him up, to have the whole gang!

I stamped the monster from the Simon says Stamp Stamptember Concord and 9th Stamp set in Versafine onyx black and Versafine Clair: Twilight, Monarch, Green oasis and Warm breeze inks in Bristol smooth. If I did it again, I think I would just use one colour.

I used many masks, and added arms along the way. After that, I stamped lots of heads on scrap paper and practised different faces. I altered many mouths to give them individuality. The monsters were coloured with Arteza real brush markers. I used gel pens and a Pitt pen to finish their longer arms and to highlight their teeth and horns. I used a Pitt pen to go over the eyes and mouth of the coloured monsters.

The sentiment comes from the Hi there bear stamp set from Concord and 9th. ( Inside: we think you’re the best!).

Do you think monsters are an animal? I think the fur and horns could let them be classified as animal.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Where creativity meets C9: challenge #26 layers.

Also in the Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Animal antics.

I saw your card out of the corner of my eye instantly. I love this stamp. I missed out on it and they aren’t ordering any more. Ugh!

    This card is so cute.
