Hi crafters. The Simon says Stamp challenges are both midsummer blues at the moment. I needed one more birthday card, so it’s a blue one. I started with a page of street directory which was nearly all water so it was blue with a grid and the border references. I gave it a very light cost of white gesso and then added texture paste through a Radiant lettering stencil and the Kaisercraft typography stencil. When this was dry I added Ken Oliver Prussian blue and indigo powders, followed by Lindy’s Magicals Black Forest and misted and tilted so it ran to the top of the card. I also rubbed on black water soluble crayon and Nuvo embellishment mousse in black ash. I added stamping in black Stazon with Prima solar and Lunar, plus 49 and Market Pascale’s Formula. I coated some chipboard numbers with gesso then blue, black, silver paints and some Viva cobalt blue paste and the Nuvo paste again. The numbers were adhered with 4 layers of black foam tape. The panel was warped from continued wetting and drying. I adhered it with double sided tape to a cardbase.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
