Star shaker

Hi crafters. I have an entry for the MFT and Simon says Stamp challenges. The MFT Color Challenge #124 has these colours:

The MFT Wednesday Sketch #451 challenge prompt is this:

I took some liberties with alignment and shape and cut 4 MFT Stitched star peek-a-boo windows from white cardstock. These wouldn’t fit in a straight line so they are a bit jumbled, but they do have stitched borders. I cut a border along one side with scissors and glued acetate behind it. I stamped some white cardstock with the MFT grid background stamp, once with twisted citron distress oxide and once with broken china. I added foam tape to the white piece and piled sequins on the checked bit and stuck them together. I placed lime cardstock under the star panel. I was going to have a different sentiment and tried various dies and stamps until I settled on this one from MFT Handwritten Happiness. I stamped it in Versafine Clair Twilight which is a navy. When I did this I got a smudge on the green, so I lifted the star shaker and slid another piece underneath.

I am also entering this card in the Simon says Stamp Monday challenge which is: ‘S’ is for… In this case S is for stars, shaker and sequins.
