Creepy hugs

Hi crafters. As I mentioned in the last post, I found a bag of embroidered bugs at the secondhand shop. It contained this tarantula which I thought I could use in Halloween challenges. I made a background for him by embossing a piece of kraft cardstock with the Kaisercraft wood grain embossing folder which had been inked with ground espresso distress ink. I did that a couple of times to get a 5×7 panel as the spider is huge. I rubbed distress ink cubes over the raised sections and then attached scrap threads into a cobweb pattern. I glued the spider down and added a sentiment from the Hero Arts March 2018 card kit.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
The Cat’s Pajamas Challenge #362:Fall

Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge : Halloween
Simon says Stamp Monday challenge: Spooky
Happy crafting
