More foiled birthdays

Hi crafters. I had foil waste from the last card so I used it on this one. I heated the flat metal plate and the Vicki Boutin paper in the foil press. Then I placed the circular blue scrap from the last card, onto the paper. I ran this through the diecutting machine with a couple of shims. This foiled the blue waste piece onto the paper. Then I heated the MFT Hot foil impressive Happy Birthday dienamic. I foiled this with copper/chocolate hot foil on top of the blue foil. I also used this foil to foil a scrap of blue cardstock from which I cut MFT bottlecap letters to personalise the card. I’m still working on how many shims to use each time. I found this brushscript hot foil stamp very forgiving when I didn’t align it properly due to the style of the script.

I want to mention how impressed I am at actually getting the birthday dies used in these last 2 cards in 7 days. I am not in the USA so everything usually takes ages and I am still awaiting other orders from March and April so hats off to MFT!

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Clever use of the negative space! I really need to see how you did this with the ’embossing folder’ as my first thoughts would be that I would melt it lol.
