Ethereal alcohol

Hi crafters. While I was trying the Mindy Eggen technique for alcohol inks this morning, I made this panel. I thought I’d try some colours for the current June Altenew Inspiration Challenge. I primarily used Altenew artist marker refills in Morning Frost and Sea Glass. I tried a bit of Piñata Havana Brown but it was too orange so I wiped most off with a rag. I also added several drops of Piñata Rich gold. When it was dry I cut it with an A7 layering die and layered it on blue/teal cardstock. I also cut a frame with the Simon says Stamp A7 frames die. I haven’t cut my frames apart, so I used a thicker inbetween sized frame. The sentiment which comes from the Altenew Reason to Smile stamp set, was gold embossed onto vellum. I added blue and gold Altenew Rectangle fine frames around the sentiment. This also gave me somewhere to glue it down. I also added gold sequins.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Simon says Stamp Monday challenge: Make your own background.
