Hi crafters. I went along with the stripes trend. I wanted to make a card that could be masculine so I used bold colours but no rainbows. I have trouble making straight strips on my cutters, so I used strips dies from The Stamp Market. After making a large panel I cut a piece out with the Waffleflower Rainbow Birthday die. I cut the same shape from a piece of black cardstock. I then embossed this with a striped embossing folder from Darice. The cardstock cracked but this just adds to the texture. I popped the black panel up on black foam tape and placed it on a yellow card base. I placed the coloured piece in the hole and glued on the sentiment and one ring which were cut from dark grey glitter cardstock.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Simon says Stamp Wednesday: Anything goes

Simon says Stamp Monday: Happy Birthday

The male room challenge #141: Our 7th birthday

Happy crafting,
