Primary abstract

Hi crafters. The challenge at CAS mix up is tone on tone with stencils.

I used a rounded rectangle stencil and placed various cross and square stencils underneath. The same grey ink was used throughout. To make it more interesting, I used some negative shape dies from Paper Smooches and Concord and 9th to cut crosses out of the panel. I placed red and yellow cardstock underneath and stitched around the outside with black thread. The panel was matted on blue cardstock.

Thanks for visiting,

A wonderful artsy abstract card Christine. The stitching and the pop of colour made from the neagtive die shapes have added great interest yet keep the design CAS. Lovely! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up. x
