Tidying up Part 1

Hi crafters. I have been making some cards with scraps and bits to tidy the craft space a bit. I’m going to try and post a couple. I’ve been chauffeuring a child with a broken foot so I can’t craft as often.

This card uses paper from the spray box. It had a nice assortment of colours, so I just added a bit of colour to the bare bits. I used a Dina Wakley stencil on top and lightly sponged on some white acrylic paint. I have been trying out ways to add Hotfoil to projects. I decided my standard Foil Quill pen was a bit narrow for some things I wanted to try, so I got the calligraphy version on sale. I foiled the edges in gold with the stencil on top. The stencil must have shifted slightly but I think the rough foiling suits the background. The sentiment was cut using Tim Holtz Alphanumeric Classic lower dies.
I am entering this card in the Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Anything Goes.

Happy crafting,

Those semi circles look wonderful on the multicoloured background Christine. And you are right, the ‘rougher’ look of foiling suits perfectly too!
