Hi crafters. I was going through magazines for images to craft with when I found an aerial landscape photo. I thought it had a great pattern, a bit like wood grain. I adjusted the contrast on my black and white laser printer and copied it onto some white cardstock. I did high contrast so it was just black and white and not much grey. I cut a card sized piece and blended Pinkfresh Coral reef and The Stamp Market Melon and Citrine inks onto it. I then put it through the Minc machine with silver toner foil. (I used Heidi Swapp but Decofoil, Brutus Monroe or Fab foil would work too). I added a Simon Says Stamp CZ Happy Birthday diecut sentiment.
Of course, foiled cards are a nightmare to photograph. This photo shows the shine a bit more.
I am entering this card in the Simon says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Make your own background.
