Lots of layers

Hi crafters. I wanted to use a busy, gel printed and stencilled piece of paper. I actually tried spraying white acrylic with the Artplorations Bloomdalascopic #5 stencil first. The paint went under the stencil so I quickly wiped most of it off with a damp rag and tried again. This time I used the stencil to colour some flowers with a white paint pen. I cut the paper with my largest circle die. The sentiment is from an old Stamplorations stamp set called celebrate. I thought the card needed something else so I drew a purple gel pen line around the outside of the die to form a border. This wasn’t thick enough. I took my Versamark pen and drew around it and added purple embossing powder. The pen was dry and it was patchy. Then I decided to paint Golden Permanent violet dark paint around it. I thought this was better. Considering how busy the paper was at the beginning, the result is almost CAS! 😉
I am sending this card to the following challenges:

Love your very busy beautiful gelli plate background and white stenciled flowers. Therese. Have you ever tried Pixie Spray? It is a low tack spray that works well on stencils. I have not tried with spray inks so do not know if it your inks seep under. It works great when blending inks with blender brushes, etc.
So pleased you persevered and finished your card, adding the purple framing and sentiment. TFS with us at STAMPlorations. Hugs…..Nancy
